Metallo has arrived in Gotham City and goes on a rampage. After learning that Superman is busy Robin (Tim Drake) enlists the aid of Superboy to help fight him.

After the battle Poison Ivy who has recently escaped from Arkham Asylum seduces Robin using her pheromonal kiss and Superboy flys off with her. Robin, realizing that he would be unable to defeat him in physical combat, returns to the Batcave to acquire the Kryptonite Ring which he hopes will be able to help defeat him.
